Myself and my partner have both done econsults to which no one has ever contacted us about one of which was related to my partners asthma he also recently had to do a test which never got sent for testing so the results never got to the consultant. Can't believe how poor the surgery is, it's not the GPS it's the reception staff. I find the whole thing a complete disgrace to be honest I would never recommend this surgery.
Took around 100 attempts to get through on the phone (no exaggeration). got appointment with Dr Hazel Stuart who seemed more interested than rushing me out the door with some pills than discussing the symptoms. Was told we can only discuss one thing per appointment as only have 10 minutes, despite my concern that the symptoms could be linked.
Dr Staker however, who I have seen on previous occasions, is a lot more thorough and professional
1. You can NEVER get an appointment when needed.
2. You are told to phone back the following morning at 8a.m to get an appointment but when you do they never answer the phone till 9a.m then tell you there are no appointments & to call back the following day.
3. The receptionist are rude & very unhelpful.
4 Make sure you plan your illness a week before you need an appointment because then you will probably get one.
Hazel Stuart was brilliant when I had an appointment with her. She was very friendly but stayed very professional. Great advice was given as well as a diagnosis.
The practise would benefit from having a walk in and sit system in the mornings and bookable appointments in the afternoon. The Vine Medical Centre in Maidstone has this system and it was by far the best doctors surgery I have ever been under.
Jocelyn was very friendly and explained what was happening.
